WEBINAR ON
Update on Breastfeeding and Complementary Feeding in India based on NFHS 5
Dated: 26th February 2021| Time: 3.00 pm
Background
The recent NFHS 5 shows there has been a decline in early breastfeeding in as many as 12 of the 22 surveyed states and Union Territories. And only 1 out of 6 infants get to eat an adequate diet. Significant numbers of diarrhea, pneumonia and undernutrition cases could be prevented with universal optimal IYCF practices.
To discuss how IYCF practices could be improved at the hospital and community level BPNI has organized a webinar on “Update on Breastfeeding and Complementary Feeding in India based on NFHS 5” on 26th Feb 2021 at 3:00-5:00 pm.
