This is a webinar to reach out to pregnant women and their husbands through doctors, nurses, care-givers, and others. The discussion will be why a decision on feeding is important during pregnancy. BPNI has come up with a new initiative to address this issue and it  will be launched during this webinar.

Background

iDECIDE- About Feeding My Baby” is an initiative by the Breastfeeding Promotion Network of India (BPNI)- a 29-year-old national organisation.  It aims to facilitate a well- informed decision by pregnant women/husbands for feeding their babies. BPNI’s iDECIDE provides authentic, accurate and trusted information on feeding of babies. iDECIDE is most useful when you hear the “Good News” especially during 2nd and 3rd trimester of pregnancy. It helps you to make a decision at a time most useful, and assists in carrying out that decision.

Aim is to reach out to maximum number of pregnant women and their husbands and helping them in taking a decision about feeding of their babies.

Objectives of the Webinar include:

1. To introduce and demonstrate the web portal “iDECIDE About Feeding My Baby”
2. To understand pregnant women and mothers experience.
3. To engage with health professionals to promote iDECIDE
